It was a bitter cold Sunday morning in December.

Heartwarming Personal Connections!

The holiday season is possibly the toughest time to work on our personal connections. It seems like for the sake of merriment we are hustling and bustling in every direction. Thankfully, when we Normalize Eminence, we give ourselves permission to slow down and do things with greater purpose. The idea of a holiday cookie exchange seemed like an indulgent way to celebrate the season all while engaging in meaningful connection with Normalize Eminence sisters. As it turned out, the hustle and bustle won, and the cookie exchange merriment was light. Or at least the attendance. However, 4 of us gals brought parcels filled with tasty cookie treats and enjoyed them in the best of company. We shared holiday stories of our youth. We brainstormed new ways we can pique our curiosity by participation in new and exciting Normalize Eminence events. We drank unlimited cappuccinos and lattes until …well… let’s just say we drank lots of coffee! But more importantly we took a moment out of our busy holiday schedules to remind each other just how much we value our relationships.

In Loving Memory

We also had an opportunity to visit with our very talented and ever faithful photographer Chuck Cummings for one final event. Sadly, On January 3, 2022 he passed away. It’s amazing how the universe bestows it’s gifts, event when they may just be on temporary loan.

Chuck and his wife Teresa, one of our Normalize Eminence founders, came into my life just as this website was being created. At an astronomy event in Jacksonville Fl the three of us were introduced. It was casually brought up in conversation Chuck had a passion for photography and as it turned out I really needed a photographer! Viola…universal gift…the rest is history.

For the last year, Chuck very generously volunteered his time and his professionalism for photo documenting all the amazing ways we have been developing the nine core values of Normalize Eminence. He wanted to be sure through his art every one of us was represented in the best possible way embracing Community, Connection, Curiosity, Fascination, Focus, Felicity, Enlightenment, Expression and Exclusivity.   You will forever be missed Chuck. Thank you from the deepest places of my heart for the photographic proof it is possible to Normalize Eminence.

Kiss Kiss,
